Texas School 2014 | Rockwall Photographer

I just got back from a jam packed, entertaining and educational week at the Texas School of Professional Photography. I’ve been dreaming of attending this program since high school, when my teacher mentioned it during photography class. That was back in days when digital was just getting started, and we learned to develop our own film.

Texas School, as it is affectionately called, is one week crammed full of intense, hands-on learning with some of the most talented instructors from around the country. Its an opportunity for photographers to invest in themselves, and take their skills to the next level. Its also a great place to meet other industry pros from around the world. I was amazed at the amount of talent sharing dinner together every night.

We had several opportunities to practice the new techniques we were learning in class, and I hope you enjoy some of the images that I captured throughout the week. While there were no four-legged models to shoot, I had a great time with our wonderful 2 legged models!

It was truly a blessing to get to attend, and be inspired to push myself to new levels with my photography. And the friendships I made are an awesome bonus! If you are a professional photographer and ready to invest in yourself and your business, I highly recommend attending this incredible event. I am ready for Texas School 2015!
