Holiday Pet Portraits with Hatching Hope | Huntsville Pet Photographer

huntsvillepetphotographer-4348I believe strongly in using the gifts and passions I have been given to give back wherever I can. So, when Angie Ingram, an attorney in Birmingham that specializes in animal law and landlord-tenant law, contacted me about a statewide holiday portrait event for Hatching Hope of Alabama, I was honored and excited! She explained to me that Hatching Hope provides first night kits for families and their pets who have been displaced due to an apartment fire (the night before this post was published they responded to the residents affected by this fire). Angie was organizing portrait events throughout the state of Alabama to raise funds for Hatching Hope, and asked if I would consider being their Huntsville Photographer. You mean I get to photograph pets and support an awesome organization? Heck yeah!

Events like these truly take a village to pull off. The Legacy at Jones Farm Apartments hosted the event in their beautiful clubhouse. Their gorgeous silver and gold woodland themed Christmas tree was the perfect backdrop for the portraits. Rent Path sponsored yummy cookies and an adorable hot chocolate bar. Jazzy J Designs offered a discount to participants so their pups could be well dressed for their portrait sessions, and Crinkled Nose provided a discount on customized holiday cards. It was so fun to get to partner with such awesome vendors for this event!

I had a wonderful time photographing some adorable furbabies for this event and look forward to doing it bigger and better next year!
